My previous work was within the education sector where I worked for 10 years prior to joining BES, which initially was on a self-employed basis. I am now a full-time Enterprise Coach as part of the Stoke Coaches team. My family also has connections with either small businesses or self-employment.
I am married to Karl and we became proud parents in May 2014. I like all things expensive and love to receive presents! I like going on holiday and support Stoke City Football Club.
How can I help?
I am straight talking and direct yet supportive and friendly. I have a nurturing approach yet keep focus throughout. I have been in post for over 3 years now and have experience working with sole traders, limited companies and social enterprises. The best thing about my job is seeing the amazing ideas that people have and actually being able to help them turn their dreams into reality.
Best piece of advice I’ve ever received:
You are only as good as your last job so make sure it’s a good one.
The biggest challenge I’ve overcome:
Taking voluntary redundancy from a job which I knew inside out to work in a completely new sector.
What I’d put in Room 101:
Favourite holiday destination:
Northern Cyprus; home away from home.
