South Staffordshire and Stafford Building Better Opportunities Programme
Invitation to tender for the programme evaluation
Business Enterprise Support Ltd has been appointed the lead provider to deliver the £2.3m Lottery and European Social Fund Building Better Opportunities project in the South Staffordshire and Stafford Local Authority areas.
The programme aims to support those furthest from the labour market in obtaining a number of employment, education and training outcomes. In delivering the programme, which runs from January 2017 to December 2019, we will be supported by 15 delivery partners, each providing specialist services which collectively provide a ‘menu’ of support opportunities for participants to achieve the kinds of outcomes outlined above.
We are looking to appoint an independent evaluator to gather evidence about the achievements of the programme as it progresses. Initially, we will be looking to our evaluator to provide evidence, gathered from the perspective of both participants and providers, of what is working well and what needs to be improved as part of a process of continuous service improvement leading to better outcomes for participants.
As we approach the end of the programme we will be looking for a final evaluation report that evidences achievements and identifies lessons for any future programmes of a similar nature.
